GIF Guide
Lively can play animated gifs as system wallpaper.
Regular picture files (jpeg, png ...) are also supported so that you can manage all your wallpapers in one place!
Currently lively supports these gif players:
In settings player can be changed.
This is the default and recommended player; uses the official mpv player build.
Integer/Nearest-neighbor interpolation is used for improved GIF sharpness.
Uses native Windows image control.
(Still under development.)
For best performance GPU decode (dedicated video hardware) is used to render the wallpaper, if you experience any stability issues then turn this feature off.
